The Durban Stadium is being built especially for World Cup 2010 South Africa. The stadium will be branded by two large archways which arc 100 meters above the stadium roof and hosts seating over three tiers.
Durban has possessed a long footballing history, with the first league starting in the KwaZulu-Natal Province. To date the biggest game to take place in Durban is when South Africa played against England in 2002. It also hosted South Africa’s first post-apartheid game when they played Cameroon, winning 1-0 at King’s Park.
