FIFA World Cup African qualifying group

The final rounds of qualification have just started with five drawn groups all doing their best to win the group in order to qualify. Togo 1 – 0 against Cameroon, and Gabon beat Morocco 2-1 away in Group A. Tunisia lead Group B after beating Kenya 2-1, with Mozambique sharing the spoils in a 0-0 draw against Nigeria.

No one in Group C has broken away with Egypt v Zambia, & Rwanda v Algeria all ending in draws in their opening games. Ghana lead group D after despatching Benin 1-0, while Sudan and Mali could only draw 0-0. Finally the Ivory Coast thrashed 5-0 while Burkina Faso beat Guinea 4-2 in Group E.
